JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

Responsible for a full monthly closing of Malvern GL and closely work with other departments to have a good understanding of monthly revenue, backlog, expenses, and balance sheet accounts reconciliations.

Outcomes Required:

  • Transferring accounts from a third-party accounting platform to our own
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing for API Malvern 
  • Manage all transactions under AP and AR

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • BS or MS in Accounting, CPA a plus
  • 4 years of experience completing a full monthly closing
  • A combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in account mapping preferred
  • FP&A experience 
  • System implementation/conversion is a plus
  • Strong structured problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.
  • You are comfortable working in a high-autonomy environment.
  • You have high levels of urgency–you’re humble, hungry, people smart, and adaptable, and you understand why.

Essential Function:

  • Manage full GL including Fixed Assets
  • Manager AP, AR, cash recs, 
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Converting into a new GL system (or adjusting our existing GL)
